Growing up with a prominent love for reading, Aluna Phouthavongxay has, throughout her life, been an avid reader with an interest in historical fiction books; this introduced her to creating new worlds between her own pages, utilizing the knowledge gained from the characters and worlds she’s been in and inputting it onto paper. This passion for writing urged her to take college-level English courses, involve herself in the National English Honors Society, and become a reporter for the North Clackamas Compass, where she’s been able to freely create and express herself. However, when words don’t take place in her life, she can be found napping after an exhausting day, playing video games in her free time, or baking delicious goods. To further indulge her hunger for writing, she plans on majoring in English and marketing next year in college.
