Ollie Hughes is a senior at Milwaukie Academy of the Arts. They love all kinds of writing and the expression of thought, leading them into their pursued interest in journalism. From fiction to fact, each genre has taken a part in who she is now. She hopes to make a difference in the world, one word at a time. Their favorite movie is Avatar by James Cameron, and they have watched it over a hundred times. When it comes to books, she reads too many to know which is her favorite. Some honorary mentions are: The Help, Pet Cemetery, and Le Mis. At the end of the day, they just want to do something good for the majority, fighting for the minority. She hopes to pursue a career in writing or something involving art.
