Graffiti at MHS

Teachers at Milwaukie High School are expected to be reminding their students that the building may be getting demolished soon but that no new art work should be posted on the walls.   Apparently students have chosen to leave behind what is being described in an email to staff about graffiti being posted on sections of wall inside of the 1925-era building in downtown Milwaukie.  The MHS staff was sent an email this morning from school administrators to remind students of possible consequences for marking up school property.

Last week concerns were raised when trophies were found in the school dumpster.  The school principal, Mark Pender, sent out a letter to parents and others in the community saying the trophies were accidentally taken out of the building as students and educators were boxing up school items found in the basement of the structure.
