Another unusually late winter storm has created a second 2-hour late start day in less than two weeks. High school classes will start at 10:35 which is in the middle of 2nd period. Second period SSC students can wait in the commons until SSC shuttles will begin running 3rd period. Staff are to report as soon as they can arrive safely.
From Joe Krumm, Director Community and Government Relations North Clackamas SchoolsSchools will be opened, but two hours late. School buses will operate as close to two hours behind schedule as road conditions will allow. There may be a delay for specific schools or for certain school levels (such as for Elementary Schools only). When there is a two-hour delay,
day care services begin at 8:30 a.m.
there is no morning or afternoon kindergarten.
Middle schools will start at 11:30 a.m. on every day, including Wednesdays.
Sabin Schellenberg Professional Technical Center classes begin at 12:25 p.m.
High schools and middle schools start their schedule two hours late, eliminating the early classes.
Staff members should report at regular times or as soon as they can arrive safely.
